Its already summer darling, and you might still be wondering how you are going to wear that awesome beach outfit, or go to the swimming pool, or even take the perfect summer photographs, because of your Dark underarm, Dark bikini lines, Dark knee caps, Dark elbows etc. well in today’s article we would be discussing some easy steps and easy to find ingredients for lightening any part of your body.

There are some natural and home-made remedies for lightening dark parts of the body, these remedies are easy to do, and ingredients are easy to find.  Some home ingredients for fading dark spots include:

3 days of skin lightening with tomatoe and turmeric/Bio with Thysiamore

  • Tomatoes
  • Turmeric powder
  • Sea Salt
  • Lemon Juice
  • Baking Soda
  • Milk
  • Plain yoghurt etc.

In todays article, we will be concentrating on Using Tomatoes juice, Turmeric Powder and Lemon Juice for Fading dark spots.  These Three ingredients together are power trio that can help lighten dark areas on any part of the body, tomatoes juice has natural bleaching properties, lemon juice has citric acid which helps breaks down the melanin pigmentation and curving the overproduction of it, and Turmeric which also helps to reduce hyper pigmentation.

What are some of the Causes of Dark Body Areas?

Dark body areas in certain parts of the body are caused by different factors.  for example:

  • Dark spots on the face are caused by: over exposure to sun
  •                                                              Pollution
  •                                                              Harsh chemical in body creams
  •                                                              Dirt, picking pimples etc.

 

  • Dark underarm:     Excess sweet,
  •                               Not exfoliating (scrubbing often)
  •                               The type of deodorant you use
  •                               Types of clothes you wear etc.

 

  • Dark bikini Lines:  Tight underwear
  •                              Excessive sweat
  •                              Not exfoliating
  •                             The kind of soap you use
  •                             Kinds of clothes you wear.

Areas like elbow, and knee are parts of our body, that is naturally not as light as certain parts of the body, some of the body creams we use are not suitable for our body which may lead to more darkness in the elbow and knee area.  Overall, it is good to exfoliate your body as least twice every week, so as to limit the chances of sudden darkness in our body.

How to exfoliate at home:

Other factors that may be responsible for dark body areas include:

  • Child birth
  • Stretchmarks
  • Exercising without exfoliating and deep cleansing etc.
  • An every day exfoliating routine, is to always bath with the sponge.

How to make the MASK.

  • You’ll need 1 tomato
  • ½ table spoon of turmeric powder
  • ½ lemon

Ps. Do a patch test of lemon on an area of your face first to know if you would react negatively to it, as lemon may be harsh on some people’s face.

  • Cotton pad/ brush
  • Mixing bowl and spoon.
  1. Now extract the juice of the tomatoes using a grater and a sieve
  2. Pour in the turmeric and squeeze in the lemon
  3. Mix thoroughly
  4. Damp your cotton pad into it and begin applying on the areas you would like to
  5. Leave for about 30 mins and wash off.

If you decide to use this in between your legs, be sure to secure the lady area with a tampon or a sanitary pad as to avoid the mixture from entering it.

Repeat steps 3-5 times weekly for 1 month, results could be visible in less than or over 1 month, it all depends on how stubborn the dark areas are, and your use of it.
