Formerly known as the Republic of Benin, Benin was once called Dahomey. It is a West African nation. To its east, it shares borders with Nigeria, Togo to the west, Burkina Faso and Niger to the north. French is Benin’s Local language; however, indigenous languages are also widely spoken.
The Republic of Benin is also open to students from all over the world who want to study at its higher education institutions. A lot of news has been circulated about the closure of illegal universities in the Republic of Benin.
These are also schools not approved by the NUC and which are not recognized in Nigeria for courses and certificates. Admission application fee
Students troop into the Republic of Benin for educational purposes every year and semester.
It must be recognized that all courses available in higher institutions are authorized to be offered to prospective institutions.
Students are not and are not accredited at universities in Benin.
However, there are also several other courses approved and authorized by the Nigeria University Commission here in the Republic of Benin by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. Candidates must have their O’level results in order to study in the Benin Republic.
