Irgib Africa University Originally founded in 2005, Irgib Africa university Cotonou, benin republic was officially opened in 2006 and stands to be the first Private University Institution of Higher Education in Benin with training and research centers fully authorized recognized by both the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Republic of Benin and other Institutions worldwide.
Irgib Africa University has three major campuses: The Porto-Novo campus, the Parakou campus and the Cotonou campus being the administrative headquarters and having mini campuses that run academic programs both in English and French. Each campus is identical in its approach to academic values and its rich cultural heritage to both undergraduates and graduate students.
Like all great Universities, IRGIB-Africa strives to contribute towards promoting the spirit of research and excellence in the Scientific, Technological and Economic sectors within the ECOWAS region. Accredited by the ministry of higher education of Benin Republic Cotonou and Cames. Accredited by the Nigerian University Council (NUC)
IRGIB AFRICA UNIVERSITY COTONOU BENIN REPUBLIC ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
- Birth certificate
- 6 passport photo and two plastic files (blue, green)
- A minimum of 5 credit at not more than 2 seating in WAEC, NECO, or GCE (including mathematics and English and any other 3 departmental subjects)
- A copy of the applicant’s international passport or ID. Card.
- Medical report
Postgraduate diploma/ Master degree
A candidate seeking admission into master’s degree program shall be a graduate of IRGIB-AFRICA University or any recognized university.

In partnership with the European Union companies and research laboratories, our laboratories permit us to assure high standard and quality training in our various departments such as in the applied bio technologies laboratories.
